Ok, our new movie Action Insane is now downloadable in the net. It is a crazy short movie (4 mins.) about action and violence. The movie is Finnish but the language is mostly in english.

    Download it here:

    action insane!

The page is in finnish, but you may change it into english from the left side of the page. Hope you like it and feel free to comment it and also load some other movies if you like!

I enjoyed it, thought it was very fun. It's really a no-brainer, but that's the charm about it. And I love the dialogue

I'm curious about the gun/sound effects and the bullet impacts though. Care to elaborate?

I'm pleased to hear that you have liked the film. The guns were german made guns designed to scare muggers away. The flame is real and the sound was the real sound from the gun which was little bit pitched and there was also one other gun sound on the background.

The impact effects were made with garden hoses and in order to get the blood splatter one of us had to blow hard into the hose.

What comes to the color of the movie, i'm not quite sure whatkind of a filter my friend Matti used, but I'm sure he'll tell you if he hits this board...

I'm impressed by the website! There's a lot of content there!

I've not downloaded the film, coz I'm at work and can't do that kinda thing here.

    Keep up the good work.

Hey! You dont need to resort to guns!

This was actually pretty good, though. Mainly because I just loved the way it was so unashamedly an excuse for some action without adding some kind of lame Zombie plot on top of it. Normally even the absence of a 'zombieesque' 'plot' would annoy me, but you backed this exercise up with some excellent directorial style. It could have done with out that last shoot-out. That was a tad excessive, but I'll excuse that because of the excellent intercutting of the heart-pounding approach and the guy trying to play Stairway.

Someone asked about the colours in Action insane, well I just adjusted brightness and contrast a bit and then a bit more.

Next I adjusted hue&saturation, to flatten the colours and just played with these two effects untill I was happy about the end result! I think it looks pretty nice...for some strange reason it reminds me of the "band of brothers"...but I don't know...

It's nice to see that you have liked the movie! Have you watched the Stainless Steel-music video that is also downloadable from Trash Video's homepage? Try it, thank you!
